Noah's 1 year pictures and my Birthday!

Here is a few pictures we got taken of Noah for his 1 year pics. SO CUTE!

Noah and Me

My 25th birthday was yesterday. Aaron and I went to Seattle and got a citypass and went to the EMP center, the Aquarium, and the Pacific Science Center. Then we went to Pikes Pl Market and then to the Cheesecake Factory. It was very fun and I had a good time. We were going to see a movie but I was exhausted! I have been reflecting a lot on my life and it's had it ups and downs but I am thankful for all I've been through.
Noah's birthday party is on Saturday. He doesn't offically turn one until the 30th but he's having a party in Washington and in Utah. It should be interesting! Well more later.

Mother's Day

So this was my first offical Mother's Day and I wasn't into it being so "special" I just wanted a day. I did tell Aaron to get me a gift because he would expect that on Father's Day so I should expect ATLEAST a card on Mother's Day. I even told him where to go. I never wear jewlery but there is this CUTE jewlery store by where I nanny and I told him to go there and pick me out something. It's not expensive but he didn't know what to pick and thought I would hate everything. He told me he'd take me there (YEAH RIGHT) and we'd pick out something together. Well, I had to work at my p/t job on Saturday so him and Noah went shopping for Mother's Day gifts for his mom and me.
Mother's Day arrives and I was certain that Aaron would make me get up with Noah (he does every night, no joke), but he got up with him and made me breakfast (smacks cereal, it was the thought that counts right? :) ), and I opened my gifts. He got me this wickless candle thing and a picture frame. It was sweet and I had a good Mother's Day. I don't always expect him to get me stuff all the time for holidays because I don't really care but it was my first Mother's Day and it was kinda special to me.

I know some of you didn't have good Mother's Days. I am sorry, but don't give the guy so much crap. Seriously their brains don't handle these things well. :)

Noah taking his bath

Noah's favorite part of the night is bath time. He loves playing in his bath, even when it isn't even bathtime. He hasn't gone into the big bath yet because we don' t have a stopper that fits.

Noah is turning one 20 days. I cannot believe how time flies. We are going to Washington in 9 days to celebrate with my family and friends there.
It was this time last year that I was 9 1/2 month preggo, one big blimp, and hating every minute. I was afraid of not loving Noah and being a bad mom. We were also having major money issues at the time too. I was still working at Gart's and wondering if this was how my life was going to be. Now I am in the process of getting our house up for sale and moving to Washington. I am also a nanny and working p/t as an accounting clerk. Somedays are harder then others, especially with my depression, but things are looking looking better each day. Noah is standing all by himself now. His favorite things to do is go to the grocery store and ride in the carts, take baths and play in his room or in the bathroom. I am so lucky to have my family and to have Noah when we did. It makes us less selfish. More later.
